Now Serving Brunch
We sell minnows. We also sell mimosas.
Don't ask questions.
Nate ran a bait shop on this dock for twenty years. Nightcrawlers. Minnows. Stink bait that could clear a parking lot. The usual.
One winter morning he started brewing coffee for the early anglers — the ones shivering at 6 AM waiting for crappie to bite. Word got around. Someone showed up and demanded "something to eat."
So Nate fried some catfish. Then he made biscuits. Then someone asked for eggs. And then — somehow — brunch happened.
Now we serve brunch on weekends. The bait freezer is still the loudest thing in the building. The menus are laminated because everything near the water gets wet. Nate still doesn't fully understand how this happened.
